It is a known fact that our current
population in the U.S. consists of 1% to 3%
 homosexuals at most, not 10%.
Unquestionably the vast majority of people
have accepted marriage as between one man
and one woman for thousands of years.
However, activists who are trying to change and redefine marriage are demanding the majority of the population change their values and beliefs to please the minority.
Furthermore, to impose this law on our nation would effect many areas:

In December 1999, the state Supreme Court ordered the legislature to extend full marital benefits to same-sex couples, whether or not lawmakers termed it "marriage." Four months later, Vermont became the first state in the nation to approve so-called "civil unions" for homosexuals, with all the benefits of marriage.

Love is no reason to allow same
 sex-marriage.
What about all the other groups that love
each other. This would open up marriage
between children and adults, relatives
involved in incest, even 2 or 3 or 4 people.
Most important of all, homosexual
acts hurt and kill people. The worst thing
we can do from a public policy perspective
is to encourage behavior that destroys our
citizens. Undoubtedly, common sense tells
us that a nation will not survive very long
if it encourages its people to engage in
harmful behavior. It would only encourage
more risky behavior.

Pamela Metherell from Los Ranchos,
California Prebyterian Church said: "Our
traditional view of marriage is being
threatened by the allowance of same-sex
unions in the Church and society. we live
in times of moral and ethical confusion and
our church must speak now with a voice of
clarity on these matters, especially to our
children." from Presbyterian

is to be used as talking points for
countering the aggressive homosexual
activists and politicians that clearly want
to over ride our religious convictions and
belief that homosexuality is immoral and in
no way should be condoned or accepted by
society as normal. PWTL calls for tolerance
of all peoples view points and beliefs about
homosexuality, but not necessarily having to
agree or change ours. In no way does PWTL
 condone violence or ridicule towards
homosexuals. As people of faith we must put
on our armor and take a stand against the
schemes of this movement. We must
understand it, and be prepared so that as
the day comes we are able to give an answer
 each and every time.
